South St & Beekman St [NE Corner] (September 30, 2012)

M. Slavin & Sons LTD is a 100-year old commercial fish supplier, now operating out of Brooklyn and The Bronx. In 2011, the Slavin family sold their three Manhattan buildings, at 104-106 South Street, to South Street Waterfront LLC., a venture in which the Slavin family also has an interest. (Fishy?). The connected buildings will will likely house a restaurant and residential apartments. The recently Frank Gehry-renovated Beekman Tower lurks in the background.        CLICK TO ENLARGE
