27th & 3rd Ave [NE Corner] (May 27, 2012)
The Rodeo Bar, born in 1985, is one of the better bars in this stretch of "KipMurCy" (Kips Bay/Murray Hill/Gramercy). Yes, I coined a new neighborhood name. Live Honkey-Tonk music 7 nights per week. We once saw Norah Jones perform here on a random Thursday night -- a great NYC surprise. And Joan Osborne got her start here, back in the 90s. Before Rodeo Bar, this spot was inhabited by a joint called 'Albuquerque Eats.' I'd love to see a pic of that. CLICK TO ENLARGE

I just googled "Albuquerque Eats" and this post came up. I was wondering if it was still there as we use to eat there all the time when I lived in NYC in 1990! If I can find a picture I'll let you know.
